Bio

I have a vegan ferret. I work at a locally-owned bike shop; I think bicycles are probably the best invention, like, ever. Except maybe books. I also work at a bookstore. Coincidence?

I am married. My wife is brilliant, beautiful, and a blast to be around.

I collect books and bicycles, in a rather ad hoc way. Also typewriters. And I love plants. When no one is looking, I take cuttings from wild plants and try to get them to root in my backyard. I'm hoping to find Apios americana next. I suppose I collect plants, too, but it feels very different.

I don't really use LiveJournal anymore. I'd like to say it's because of righteous protest against their policy changes, but it's mostly just because I feel like I have better things to do.
